What can you add to your list of promotional ideas that has the
potential to explode your website sales and traffic?

Affiliate programs aren't so popular just because they are an easy way
for you to add products and services to your site to add additional
revenue sources.
They're also *very* powerful sales tools. Think about it, with your own
affiliate program you will have people out there just like you and me
promoting your website and your products.
You need multiple streams of income, right? This is one that has the
potential to boost your bottom line significantly.
And affiliate programs aren't just for those that have products to sell
either. You can setup a pay-per-lead or pay-per-click program as well.
For a pay-per-lead program you can calculate how much a new subscriber
to your newsletter is worth to you, or how much it is worth to you to have
someone join your community.
For a pay-per-sale program you can pay an amount less than what you
determine each visitor to your site is worth to you. For example if you
find that each visitor to your site is worth 30 cents, then paying your
affiliates 15 cents or less for each visitor is a bargain.
An affiliate program can also allow you to tap into an affiliate
websites' high traffic, or massive subscriber list.
